Our art and design curriculum is written to excite and inspire all of our children through learning about and through art. The curriculum is carefully planned to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their starting points, progressively develop skills focusing on the media of drawing, painting, printing, mixed media and clay. All pupils should have the firm foundations that will ready them for the challenges of the KS3 art and design curriculum and be inspired with a love of art for life.
Through the study of local and significant artists that span time and geography, pupils should develop knowledge that significantly adds to their cultural capital.
