On the 19th March, 8 year 3/4 children represented the school in a tag rugby festival at UCTC. For some, this was the first time playing rugby and for others this was the first time they represented the school. All children were fantastic and everyone had a great time learning new skills. We played 3 games and won all 3. Well done to everyone involved.

New PE Equipment
Take a look at our new PE equipment which we got with some of the money that Framfield won while taking part in Beat the Street last summer.
Swimming Gala
On the 31st January 13 children across KS2 took part in an afternoon Swimming Gala. This is a fantastic event, organised down to the last minute by the PE department and a team of sports leaders.
All children took part in at least one race. With 11 schools taking part there were some fantastic performances. When the final points had been recorded and the results were in Framfield were given bronze!!!!!!
With one child getting overall Gold for the 50m freestyle and two children getting overall bronze for their races. Well done to everyone that took part in the event.
Netball Years 3 and 4
On the 29th January 7 children from Puffins Class attended a Netball competition held at UCTC. For 3 of the children this was their first time playing the sport. However all children worked hard winning 2 out of the 3 games in the groups stages. We then came up against our friends at Blackboys School in the semi finals and even though we played well we lost 4-2. This meant we then had to play Manor School for 3 Place. At the final whistle it was 2-2, making us joint third. A fantastic team effort!
High Five Netball
On the 22nd of January 8 children from years 5 and 6 took part in a high five netball competition against other local Primary Schools. Six schools entered which was organised by the UCTC PE department. They worked very well as a team winning their first game 3-0 and their second game 3-1.
We were then top of our group and went through to the semi finals where the children worked hard but we ended up losing 1-0.
Resulting with us coming third place.
