Snapchat Map Warning

Schools are warning parents that a new location-sharing feature in Snapchat could put children at risk.

Snap Map lets users share their exact location with people on their "friends" list in real time.

In a letter seen by the BBC, one school said the map raised "serious safeguarding concerns" because children could be tracked on the map.

Uckfield FM Interview

Pupils at Framfield Primary School entered the Childnet Film competition by recording their own version of Uckfield’ s Rag n Bone Man’s hit song ‘Human’.

The video showed the children in a Mannequin Challenge style video imitating mannequins and showing powerful images using masks and other props to provide their own message about internet safety.

Welcome back to a new term and welcome all new Kingfishers!

This term our topic is ‘Houses and Homes!’ and we will be learning about all the different buildings and other dwellings that we call home.

We will start with the children talking and writing about their own home and who lives with them in their home. We will be learning about what buildings are made from. After half term we will be comparing homes old and new and focussing on homes in Tudor times.
